Yes, you read that correctly. It’s Gundam Style, a Japanese animated television series not the song signed by South Korean rapper PSY.

The 2013 Toyota Auris hatchback received a styling package from Modellista, the in-house tuning arm of the Japanese automaker. The tuner chose as its inspiration the character Char Aznable and then the designers translated it to the hatchback.

On the outside we see a new apron with LED lights, hood vents, a roof spoiler and a redesigned front bumper. In the back Modellista chose to replace the diffuser and the tailpipes. The Japanese tuner applied a foil wrap in red for the body and in carbon fiber for the roof.

On the inside we see red accents on the dashboard, steering wheel and gear shifter. In terms of mechanics Modellista chose to upgrade the suspension and to replace the exhaust system.
