As the 2011 Toyota Highlander has premiered in Moscow yesterday, the Japanese manufacturer has published new photos with their revised CUV.
There is no official word on a US spec version, but it is probably a matter of time before the facelift version for North America will be unveiled. For the model sold in Russia the automaker has chosen their 3.5-litre V6 that produces 273 HP and 337 Nm of torque. Thanks to this V6 unit that uses a 6-speed automatic transmission, the 2011 Toyota Highlander will accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h in 8.2 seconds with a top speed of 180 Km/h.
The entry level powerplant fitted on the 2011 Toyota Highlander is a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder unit producing 187 horses and a hybrid version is also in the works.
As far as design the 2011 Toyota Highlander comes with a revised front end that features redesigned headlights, a new grille and a new bumper, plus new taillights at the back.
The 2011 Toyota Highlander price will get announced as the on-sale date approaches.
