Toyota has upgraded the 2011 Auris range with extra equipment and a new entry level version called the Auris Edition.
The 2011 Toyota Auris Edition in both 3-door and 5-door body styles replaces the previous T2, with equipment that goes beyond that what the T2 used to offer. And this means features like 16 inch alloys and electric heated/retracting door mirrors which are in addition to an already generous standard equipment list that includes air conditioning, a 4-speaker sound system, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TRC).
The 2011 Toyota Auris Edition models will be powered by a 1.33-litre VVT-i petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and Stop Start technology for fuel efficiency. Consumption figures for the Auris Edition are 48.7 mpg combined, while CO2 emission levels are 135 grammes per Km.
Moving up in the Auris range we have the TR version which adds rear parking sensors, Bluetooth and  cruise control to the 1.6 Valvematic variant as well as a new sporty interior trim and analogue meters in the 1.4 D-4D and 1.6 Valvematic versions.
The range topping model is the 2011 Toyota Auris SR, and in this case we only have the 5-door body style with the 1.6 Valvematic engine and a 6-speed transmission plus the new cruise control and Bluetooth features which are part of the standard equipment list.
The 2011 Toyota Auris price starts at 15,225 GBP and reaches 17,435 GBP.
