Tesla Motors has officially unveiled the all-new Model 3. The event took place at its design center in Hawthorne, California and was a real success.

The new Model 3 will go on sale late next year and will have a starting price of 35.000 USD. Another interesting fact is that Elon Musk announced that in less than 24 hours the car managed to get more than 115,000 pre-orders.

On the design side, the new Model 3 looks like a mini version of the Model S. Inside the cabin we have seen a large infotainment screen that really looks like a 4K monitor from a graphic designer’s workstation.

According to Elon Musk, the new Model 3 will get 5 stars in every category of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s battery of tests, and that each Model 3, regardless of trim level, will come standard with the company’s Autopilot hardware and safety features. And this is an important move for the American car manufacturer.

On the performance side, the slowest version of the Model 3 will be able to run from stand still to 100 km/h in less than six seconds and will have an EPA-certified range of at least 215 miles.
