Petrol heads this is the end! Tesla Motors has opened their first European assembly plant in Tilburg, Netherlands. The facility will assemble the Model S and the upcoming Model X cars.

All the parts are delivered directly from the Freemont plant of Tesla. According to Tesla, the production of the car will be about 450 units per week, while the maximum capacity stands at 1.000 cars per week.

The Tilburg factory has a 750-meter (2,460-foot) indoor test track but according to Elon Musk, there is a lot of room for growth and expansion. More than that, Musk said that his company will experience the opportunity for more European plants in early 2016.
