Subaru is facing a sales downturn in United Kingdom. The japanese manufacturer decided to drop the current Impreza and its performance version, the WRX STI due to poor sales. The bad news also impllies the current Legacy, which is also facing dropping sales in the UK.

According to a Subaru spokesperson, there are no plans to bring in further Impreza WRX STI stock after the current one sells out. Current stock should be enough to early summer depending on demand.

Instead of selling high-performance compact cars, Subaru will focus on newer vehicles like the BRZ, XV and Forester.

No word of Legacy, which confirms the discontinue off current generation medium-segment sedan and estate version, easily overwhelmed by its premium german competitors. The Legacy could leave UK market at the end of 2013.
