Subaru tries to stop decreasing sales of its current BRZ in Australia with a special that brings more equipment for less money. The new edition promises to offer 9000 AUD options, asking instead only 3500 AUD.

The cosmetic upgrades improve the look of the car, without affecting the performances or improving them. The new special edition BRZ includes a rear diffuser, stripes package, 17-inch alloy wheels with STI logo, matte black painted front spoiler, rear spoiler lip, and side skirts.

Inside the cabin, passengers will be treated with additional STI equipment, like the start button, the short-throw gearshift assembly for the manual models and a knob for the automatic. Important changes also under the body, where we have some revised dampers and some improvements for handling, as the new special edition is based on the revised 2015 version of the car.

Power remains the same, delivered by the same 2.0 liter four cylinder boxer engine, capable of delivering 200 hp and 205 Nm of torque. The resources are sent to the rear wheels through a manual six speed gearbox or through a six-speed auto.

The prices for the new special edition Subaru BRZ start at 40.650 AUD, with first deliveries arriving in November.
