Subaru has unveiled today the all-new WRX STI at the 2014 North American International Auto Show. As you may have read, the new Subaru WRX STI will be available only as a sedan and it will feature a Launch Edition limited to 1.000 units.

On the outside, the 2015 Subaru WRX STI is featuring an impressive and aggressive body kit. It has a massive grille, new side skirts, bigger wheels and a unique hood with a central air inlet. Furthermore, the Japanese painted the car in WR Blue color and installed at the back a massive rear wing.

Under the hood of the 2015 Subaru WRX STI is a 4-cylinder 2.5 liter turbo engine which can offer 305 horsepower at 6.000 rpm and 393 Nm peak of torque at 4.000 rpm. The engine resources are put to the ground via a six speed manual gearbox mated to the all-new symmetrical all-wheel drive system with a multi-mode driver-controlled center mechanical differential.

The 2015 WRX STI carries its bold personality inside, where new Alcantara seating surfaces accented by red and black leather bolsters and red stitching set the tone for the upgraded and roomier cabin.

A driver-focused interior remains integral to the WRX STI performance character, with the new model debuting a motorsports-inspired flat-bottom steering wheel and new whiplash-reducing performance-design front seats with height and tilt-adjustable head restraints. A wide array of new user technologies include, for the first time in a WRX STI, availability of a Harman/Kardon premium audio system.
