Subaru has unveiled the all-new 2015 Outback model at the 2014 New York Auto Show. The model is set to go on sale in the U.S this summer and on the outside it features a lot of components seen on the Legacy model. 

The 2015 Subaru Outback comes with a massive hexagonal grille flanked by the all-new sweptback headlights. In addition, the Japanese model is coming with aluminum hood, plastic body cladding and a more rakish windscreen. Furthermore, we see a roof rack, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and 17 or 18 inch alloy wheels. 

The entry-level version is coming with power windows, a telescoping steering wheel, air conditioning and an infotainment system which works with a 6.2 inch display.

Under the hood, the 2015 Subaru Outback will come with two different boxer engines. The first one is a 2.5 liter petrol unit rated at 175 horsepower and 235 Nm peak of torque, and the second one is a 3.6 liter motor which can deliver 256 horsepower and 334 Nm of torque. According to Subaru, both engines are connected to a Lineartronic transmission.  

Models equipped with the 2.5-liter engine are slated to return 25 mpg city / 33 mpg highway / 28 mpg combined, while the 3.6-liter six-cylinder offers an improved fuel economy rating of 20 mpg city / 27 mpg highway / 22 combined.
