Alongside the new Viziv concept vehicle, the new 2014 Subaru
Forester will make its European debut at Geneva.
To go on sale in
the UK in May, the fourth-generation Forester builds upon the
outgoing model’s credentials as a capable, go-anywhere and
user-friendly SUV, with improved performance, safety and
efficiency along with a larger, higher quality cabin.

Subaru’s unique Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system remains at the
heart of the vehicle, which was recently awarded a maximum
five-star safety rating by EuroNCAP.
No word on engine specification, but the japanese manufacturer
announced that Subaru Outback will also be on show at Geneva, its
2.0-litre Boxer diesel engine now paired with Lineartronic (CVT)
transmission for the first time, to give smoother gear-shifting
and improved fuel efficiency.

The Outback diesel Lineartronic is
due to arrive in the UK this autumn.
