In 2011, the Japanese car maker Subaru has unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show the BRZ STI Concept. As we find out back then, the prototype was previewing a production version of the coupe, which was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show.

This year, the Japanese car maker is planning to introduce on the market a performance version of the BRZ with the STI badge on it.

On the official STI brand webpage we found out the message "Coming soon", along with two pictures. We are talking about a fender air vent and a front grille, both branded with STI logo.

When you try to download the images you will find out that they are called "BRZ tS teaser" which means this won’t be a STI version. As you know, the "tS" name is used for those models designed by STI house but who don’t have all the extra performances.
