SsangYong will unveil two different concepts during this year Paris Motor Show. The South Korean manufacturer will try to tease us with its future B segment SUV, set to rival with the popular Nissan Juke.
The SsangYong XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure concepts will try to offer different perspectives of the future small SUV. With a 4195 mm (165 in) length and 2600 mm (102 in) wheelbase, the two concepts fit perfectly in the B-segment, promising space for five passengers and even enough boot space.
The XIV comes from eXciting user-Interface Vehicle and anticipates the two natures of the crossover: one urban-oriented and one off-road oriented with a more rugged look. SsangYong XIV-Adventure and XIV-Air are powered by either a 1.6-liter petrol or 1.6-liter diesel engines that meet Euro 6 emission standards.
According to SsangYong, the new XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure are close to production versions of the future X100 crossover that has already been spied testing.
