As announced, SssangYong has unveiled the new XIV-2 Convertible Concept at the Geneva Motor Show. The car represent a three-door premium CUV (crossover utility vehicle) which incorporates SsangYong’s latest design insight and which promises a ‘special and fun’ driving experience.
This convertible version has further evolved the idea behind the first generation XIV-2 Concept by adopting a fabric roof with a one-touch automatic operating system which will provide a ‘wind in hair’ experience.
The SsangYong XIV-2 Convertible Concept is being presented with two 1.6-litre Euro 6 compliant, petrol and diesel engines, both linked to a 6-speed manual or an automatic and back by Idle Stop and Go technology (ISG).
The 1.6-litre petrol delivers 125 PS (158 Nm) and has CO2 emissions of 121 or 127 g/Km depending on the type of transmission while the 1.6-litre diesel produces 130 PS (300 Nm). CO2 emissions in this case are either 106 or 112 grams per Km.
