Ssangyong has published a few teaser pictures with the upcoming Ssangyong LIV-2 SUV concept. The prototype will be showcased during the 2016 Paris Motor Show and previews the upcoming generation Rexton. As you can already imagine, the new concept is the latest iteration of the LIV-1 concept, the prototype that was shown during the 2013 Seoul Motor Show.

This time, the Ssangyong LIV-2 SUV concept was developed in order to communicate the new brand theme of Dignified Motion. The concept features a redesigned front end, a more prominent radiator grille and new LED headlights. More than that, we see a new front bumper, special protections and bigger air intakes. The Ssangyong LIV-2 SUV concept brings new taillights with 3D LED graphics, and a new diffuser.

Inside the cabin, the Ssangyong LIV-2 SUV concept comes with just four seats, but the production model is likely to feature three seats in the rear.

Under the hood, the Ssangyong LIV-2 SUV concept has a 2.2 liter turbodiesel engine and a 2.0 petrol unit. Both engines are likely to be offered for the production model.
