German tuner Brabus is going to showcases its updated versions Smart fortwo electric drive and smart ebike in Geneva this year.
The smart BRABUS electric drive has an output og 60 kW and 135 Nm of torque (up from 55 kW) and features a sports suspension that positions the car with 10 mm closer to the asphalt. On the outside the small city car looks sportier due to new elements such as the new front spoiler and rear apron insert with double reflectors and its glossy black body and contrasting green painted tridion safety cell and mirror caps.
The smart BRABUS electric drive sits on 16/17 inch Monoblock VII alloy wheels, and its interior features unique accent trim parts, various electric green components, a leather look instrument panel and door trim, a special sound module and a sports steering wheel with steering wheel gearshift.
The smart BRABUS ebike uses a 500 watts electric motor, which means twice as powerful than the one featured by the regular smart ebike, and at the same time it weights 10 percent less than before. Its top speed is 45 Km/h and with the rider able to choose between four levels of ‘muscle power’ assistance provided by the electric motor.
Just like on the fortwo model, BRABUS has decided to offer a more dynamic look by panting the frame and fork in matt black and components such as the quick release skewers, pedals and brake callipers in anodised green.
The smart BRABUS ebike also comes with green leather saddle and gripes, a four piston brake system ,four spoke wheels made out of carbon, Sport Contact tyres, weight-optimised cranks and pedals and a carbon seatpost.
