The Czech car maker Skoda has confirmed that during this summer the new Octavia vRS will go on sale. The new performance version of the best-seller car in Skoda family will arrive in hatchback and estate versions.
Under the hood, the customers can choose from two different engines. For the petrolheads, the Czech car maker will offer the 217 bhp turbocharged engine, the same unit as the forthcoming VW Golf GTI. The diesel lovers will probably get the 2.0 liter TDI engine that can deliver 178 bhp.
The new Skoda Octavia vRS will be available with a six speed manual gearbox or with a seven speed DSG transmission. Prices for the third generation of the Octavia vRS haven’t been announced, but we expect to start from around 23.000 pounds.
