Skoda unveiled today the first interior photo of the 2015 Fabia. The third generation of the Czech model will feature a simple design and is going to be more practical.

The car will also offer much more space for its five passengers, even if is 8 mm shorter than its predecessor. The space has increased and the front passengers have 21 mm more elbow room, while at the back there is 2mm more than on the old model.

The boot has a capacity of 330 liter, which is 15 liter more than in the old model and the best value in the segment, as Skoda announced in the press release. With the rear seats folded down, loading capacity is increased to up to 1,150 litres.

A rear access width of 1,098 mm, a tailgate that swings open to 1,915 mm and a low sill height make loading easier. The loading area is 960 mm wide, which is 2 cm wider than the previous generation.

Inside the cabin there are nine new Simply Clever solutions. Among them are the ce scraper in the fuel filler cap, the space for up to seven bottles (one bottle in each of the front and rear doors, the glove compartment and two bottles in the centre console), the rubbish bin available for the side door and the standard parking ticket holder on the inside of the left-hand A-pillar.

The Bolero infotainment system will also feature the MirrorLink technology. This allows smartphone apps to be displayed on the screen of the infotainment system.
