The French from Renault will present a limited edition Megane Coupe-Cabriolet called the Floride, inspired from the original 1960s model at the 2012 Brussels Motor Show in January.
This model which features a full leather treatment, will become available for ordering on the automaker’s home market from December 1st and will carry a price tag of 33,100 Euro.
Apart from the two-tone leather upholstery which combines red and ivory, the Renault Megane Coupe Cabriolet Floride Edition is also recognized due to its ivory body finish, the high-gloss, piano black panoramic roof and the 17-inch diamond-effect wheels which are also painted in ivory.
The car is also complemented by retro-style Floride badging on the front wings and a numbered plaque on the inside, with the rest of the enhancements including a metal gear lever knob and unique carpet mats.
Production for the Renault Megane Coupe Cabriolet Floride Edition will be restricted to 1,600 units, with each exemplar extracting power from a dCi 130 DPF engine that sends 130 HP and 300 Nm of torque to the wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
