Renault has officially unveiled the 2016 Talisman model. Designed as a replacement for Laguna and Latitude, the new Talisman is based on the CMF platform and comes with an elegant exterior.
The 2016 Renault Talisman has 4.85 meters long, 1.87 meters wide and 1.46 meters tall, with a 2.81-meter wheelbase and a 608-liter trunk capacity. The front part of the car is dominated by the massive radiator grille and by the new C-shaped LED DRLs. The side profile comes with a prominent shoulder line and new glossy pillars, while the rear end comes with sleek LED taillights.
Inside the cabin, the 2016 Renault Talisman comes with 25 liters of stowage space and with lot of room for all the passengers. The new seats can be adjusted in 10 ways while the driver seat can move up to 50 mm.
The entry-level version of the model will come with a 4.2 inch display while the upper versions can features a 7 or an 8.7 inch display with R-Link 2 infotainment system.
Under the hood of the 2016 Renault Talisman will be available five different engines, two petrol ones and three diesel units. On the petrol side customers can order the TCe 150 and TCe 200. Both of the engines are available exclusively with a seven speed EDC transmission.
On the diesel side you will find the dCi 110, dCi 130 and dCi 160 units. The first ones can be matted to a six speed manual or to a six speed EDC, while the last unit can work only with the dual clutch transmission.
