The French car maker has premiered the new generation 2012 Renault Twingo in Frankfurt today. They say that with this new version they came up with a different approach, hence the new grille features a bigger and more upward front badge, while the black background headlights project a more confident appearance.
Just like the first generation, the 2012 Renault Twingo has an expressive front end, this time manly due to its new fog lights and the round sidelights positioned next to the grille.
The 2012 Renault Twingo also features a newly designed rear end, with new lights in addition to the main cluster and a redesigned bumper, plus the car is now available with 17 different alloy wheel and wheel trim combinations and two new body colours  called Fuchsia and Bermuda Blue.
At the interior the 2012 Renault Twingo introduces new colours and materials, with the seats featuring new patterns and the edging highlighted by contrasting stitching.
The powerplants available in the new Twingo will include the automaker’s 1.2 TCe engine which produces 100 HP and 155 Nm and the 1.2 16V 75 plant which promises efficiency figures of 55.4 mg (UK rating) and 119 grammes of CO2 emitted per Km.
The 2012 Renault Twingo will go on sale in the UK in January, with pricing information expected to get released as we get closer to that date.
