Renault has unveiled the first official images with the 2012 Pulse, a new compact developed especially for the Indian market. This new model was created by the automaker’s Design Center in Mumbai and it’s market release date is scheduled for January next year.
The 2012 Renault Pulse targets "young, upwardly mobile urban customers" and is equipped with a 1.5 dCi engine that promises a high level of efficiency and performance. Both the car and the engine are built in Chennai, the first dedicated Renault-Nissan manufacturing plant in India.
Even though you might consider the 2012 Renault Pulse just a re-badged Micra, the automaker describes the car as being sporty in terms of design, capable of offering a dynamic driving experience and equipped with advanced features such as smart access key or automatic folding exterior mirror.
The 2012 Renault Pulse will premiere at the upcoming Auto Show in New Dheli, which is when we will also have more details with this new compact.
