The new 2014 Range Rover Sport is scheduled to debut on March 26 during this year New York Auto Show. To keep its fans connected and close to the premiere, Land Rover has released a teaser clip with its upcoming SUV.
The car is described by the British manufacturer as being the "fastest, most responsive and most agile vehicle to date." Thanks to the new teaser video, we get the chane of seeing the profile of the SUV, including some lateral parts of its headlamps and taillights.
Compared to the outgoing model, the new one is expected to lose approximately 661 lbs (300 kg) and should feature an Evoque-inspired styling with tear dropped-shape headlights. We should also see new taillights, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and a sloping roofline.
The new Range Rover Sport is likely to use the same engines as the 2013 Range Rover, including the 3.0-liter V6 diesel with 255 hp (190 kW) and the 4.4-liter V8 diesel with 335 hp (250 kW). Gasoline choices will consist of a 5.0-liter V8 with 375 hp (280 kW) and a supercharged V8 producing 504 hp (376 kW).
