Chinese brand Qoros will make its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. First car destinated to the Old Continent market will be a compact four-door sedan which will have an European-inspired design.

"All Qoros products will be designed to meet high international safety, quality and environmental standards and will be engineered to receive maximum ratings in Euro NCAP safety tests," said the Chinese automaker.

The company, which is currently completing the work in Changshu, China, says it is supported by major suppliers, such as Magna Steyr, TRW, Continental, Bosch and Microsoft.

"We have integrated the best of both worlds in a unique business model, one which sets a benchmark for the international auto industry, especially in China. We have 100 percent control and ownership of our brand, our design and the use of technologies, without having to make compromises," said Qoros Vice-Chairman and former Volkswagen executive, Volker Steinwascher.
