After it took the center stage in Goodwood Festival of Speed two years ago, when it celebrated 911 50th anniversary, Porsche unveils another similar sculpture in Zuffenhausen, his home town.

The sculpture is dedicated to the same 911 model and is created by British artist Gerry Judah. You might say that Judah inspired himself a little to much from what we have seen at Goodwood, as the cars at the top are standing on simmilar tracks.

The sculpture showcased in Zuffenhausen is a little small than what we saw in Goodwood, easuring only 23.7 meters tall. The sculpture is called Inspiration 911 and on each of its three pillars that are in fact some tracks, are mounted three Porsche 911 real cars.

"The sculpture that we present today is more than a work of art. It is also a symbol for our company’s close ties with Stuttgart”, said Porsche Chairman, Matthias Mueller.
