Andreas Preuninger, Porsche GT series production chief, confirmed that the new 911 GT3 RS will be unveiled next year. As you know, the German car maker recently unveiled the new GT3 and GT3 R versions of the 911 which will be followed by the Turbo variant later this year. 

According to the German official, the new 911 GT3 RS will have a PDK transmission that is going to provide "more involvement that the manual option".

Preuninger added that the 2014 911 GT3 RS will not receive a manual gearbox as the company doesn’t want to provide too many options on their GT range.

According to Preuninger, the new PDK will be quicker in terms of gear changing, while the steering will be tweaked to work better with the RS suspension. On the outside, we will find a new exhaust, a massive wing and some aero modifications. Under the hood the 2014 911 GT3 RS will probably get more than 500 hp.
