Mitsubishi will unveil the new Outlander PHEV Concept-S during this year Paris Motor Show. The prototype is an evolution of the current Outlander PHEV Hybrid, anticipating a better equipped eco-SUV.

The exterior design features a new front end design, with chromed accents, wraparound headlamps, elongated combination lamps and brilliant “Platinum White” with glass flake finish.

The interior is also customized with “Black & Burgundy” colour scheme, black wood grain trim with silver accent, centre console inspired by Japanese traditional black lacquered boxes, soft fine leather for the seat upholstery and silver accents of the trimming lines.

The Concept-S power comes from magnet synchronous motors, fed by a 12 kWh lithium-ion battery. The two engines power both the front and rear axle. The battery is powered from a household socket or through a 2.0 liter DOHC MIVEC petrol unit.
