VUHL’s new 05 sports car makes its public debut at the Royal Automobile Club in London.

The new care produced by the Mexican automaker uses a 2.0-litre Ford Ecoboost engine with 285 horsepower and 310 pound feet of torque. These features enable the VUHL 05 to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 244 km/h.

All we know by now is that the Mexican creation uses a bonded aluminum monocoque that features honeycomb panels and aluminum extrusions.

There are no further details especially since the development process is not yet finished. But despite this, and the fact that the company will produce only 50 cars a year at its factory in Mexico City, production is scheduled to start by the end of the 2013, and pricing starts at £59,900.
