This teaser image announcing the SSC Ultimate Aero has appeared on the American manufacturer’s official website.
Shelby Super Cars says the SSC Ultimate Aero will get unveiled in September and we’re guessing it is going to be the Paris Motor Show, so it looks like the race to beat Bugatti’s new land speed record set with the Veyron Super Sport is officially on.
They have done it before with the Aero TT which managed to be faster than the Veyron although in terms of design, the car was not that impressive. That is why the faster and more powerful SSC Ultimate Aero has been designed by Jason Castriota.
It remains to bee seen how much over the 1200 HP will the SSC Ultimate Aero go, as the Aero TT packs 1287 HP from its V8 engine.
