The Austrians from KTM have released photos and details with the X BOW R, a more powerful
version sports car which received a wide series of improvements in
order to achieve optimal performance and remain true to the company’s motto – ‘Ready to Race’.
With
power extracted from an Audi sourced 2.0-litre TFSI engine which
received a larger turbocharger, a modified fuel injection system and new
electronics, the KTM X BOW R produces 300 HP (220 kW) and 400 Nm of torque at 3,300 rpm.
In order to cope with the additional horses, the Austrian engineers have significantly increased torsional stiffness in the KTM X BOW R which now sits 19 mm closer to the ground and which has also received stiffer springs and revised dampers.
The KTM X BOW R price starts at 58,795 Euro and the list of standard equipment contains a carbon fibre racing monocoque, a mechanical limited slip differential, a smooth surface racing underbody, a removable/multifunctional steering wheel, a sports suspension, keyless go, tainted rims, a four-point safety harness and special paint work.
