Ok we know that many of the world’s supercars come from Italy, and its easy for everyone to start naming models from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Pagani, etc.., but here is a new one we bet you never heard of. The Juliani Veela, which is a custom built model representing the work of Juliani Automobili, based on a steel spaceframe chassis with a body made from composite materials in order to keep weight down and power extracted from a direct fuel injected V8.
Measuring 4,55 m in length, 1,92 m in width and 1,24 m in height, the Juliani Veela has a wheelbase of 2.63 m, and offers seating for 2+2. The 6.2-litre V8 from under bonnet sends 520 horsepower to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission, and in order to keep things safe, the automaker has fitted the Juliani Veela with anti roll bars on both axles, adjustable dampers and an independent suspension system front and rear and big Brembo brakes.
The Juliani Veela weights only 1,160 Kg, which means its power to weight ratio is 1 HP/2.23 Kg, and in terms of performance, this new Italian supercar is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 3.4 seconds (0 to 160 Km/h – 0 to 99 mph in 7.6 seconds) and can reach a top speed of 310 Km/h (192 mph).
