Ducati and Mercedes AMG have worked together in creating a special edition bike based on the Italian brand’s 2012 flagship model, the Diavel Carbon.
Dubbed the Duciati Diavel AMG, the bike marks last year’s announcement of a cooperation involving the two companies, with this first co-inspired model combining various unique styling features from both marques.
The Ducati Diavel AMG comes with AMG inspired 5-spoke design wheels, carbon fiber lateral radiator grills highlighted by aluminium trim, an AMG style horizontally ribbed seat and a sport exhaust system featuring engraved end pipes with the AMG lettering.
Each exemplar Ducati Diavel AMG Special Edition will also come with hand-tuned Desmodromic cam-timing, and with the name of the engineer who performed it engraved on a casing on the left side of the engine.
Dressed in a matte black carbon fibre body work the Ducati Diavel AMG will debut at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, with customers able to place their orders for this special bike as soon as the 2011 IAA will open its doors to the general public on September 15th.
