Polaris has officially unveiled the 2015 Slingshot model. Basically, the 2015 Polaris Slingshot looks like a KTM X-Bow but with only a rear center-mounted wheel. 

Under the hood of the sports car is a 2.4 liter EcoTec engine signed by GM which can deliver 173 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 225 Nm peak of torque at 4,700 rpm. The engine resources are sent to the rear wheel via a five speed manual gearbox and a carbon-reinforced drive belt. 

The new 2015 Polaris Slingshot is 149.6 inches long, 77.6 inches wide and 51.9 inches tall, with a 105-inch wheelbase and a 5-inch ground clearance. It also features 18 inch front wheels and a 20 inch rear wheel and the body panels are made from polymer. 

In addition, Polaris Slingshot comes with projector-beam headlights, LED taillights and three-point seat belts. Furthermore, we see a reverse tilt hood, double wishbone forget aluminum suspension and an electronic power-assisted steering with ESC. 

Pricing for the new 2015 Polaris Slingshot kicks off at 19,999 USD for the base model and goes up to 23,999 USD for the SL version, As standard you get two years of unlimited warranty but at an additional cost an extra three years can be acquired.
