Yesterday, a couple of leaked photos with the upcoming 2013 Caterham AeroSeven have been surfaced the web. Today, the British sports car manufacturer has unveiled the prototype and has offered all the details for the AeroSeven. 

The concept will be displayed for the first time, today, at the Singapore Grand Prix and its previewing an upcoming production version that will see the light in 2014. 

According to the British officials, the new 2013 Caterham AeroSeven Concept is based on the Seven CSR architecture and has some technology borrowed from the brand’s F1 team. We are talking about a new Caterham Engine Management System and an adjustable traction control with launch control system.

Under the hood of the 2013 Caterham AeroSeven Concept is a naturally aspirated Ford Duratec engine that offers 240 horsepower. The sprint form stand still to 100 km/h is done in less than four seconds. More than that, Caterham is currently testing other power alternatives so at the moment of the launch we could see something else under the bonnet.
