As it does with almost every car it launches, Mercedes is offering a special Edition 1 model also for the recently launched C63 AMG Coupe, the newest edition to AMG range of performance models. The new Mercedes AMG C63 Coupe Edition 1 will be showcased during Frankfurt Motor Show and will be inspired by the optical appearance of future Mercedes-AMG racing coupes which will compete in the popular DTM series in 2016.

Two exterior designs address different customer wishes. The first variant, available exclusively for the S-Model has a colour scheme in designo Magno Selenite Grey matt paint with yellow film coating that borrows the look of the Frankfurt International Motor Show launch version of the 2016 C63 DTM and thus highlights its proximity to motorsport. Yellow sport stripes adorn the engine bonnet, roof, boot lid as well as the side lines above the rocker panels.

With yellow painted rim flanges, the light, matt black Performance forged wheels in 5 double-spoke design also set a distinctive accent. Size 9.0J x 19 with 255/35 R 19 tyres are used at the front, 10.5J x 20 with 285/30 R 20 tyres at the rear. The C 63 S Coupé Edition 1 is equipped with ceramic high-performance compound brake system.

The exterior of the second Edition 1 variant is more restrained. The sport stripes are rendered in graphite grey matt and the rim flanges of the matt black forged wheels have a high-sheen cross-spoke design. Sport tyres and the ceramic high-performance compound brake system are available as an option for this variant. In addition, all exterior paints are available for this variant.

In both variants, the AMG Aerodynamics Package includes additional large front spoiler, specific side skirts, lateral airflow breakaway edges in the rear apron, the specific rear diffuser and the specific airflow break-away edge on the boot lid.

Inside, the AMG Performance seats are upholstered in Nappa leather, including the colour yellow in the contrast stitching of the specific diamond pattern. Yellow contrast stitching is also found in the door centre panels, arm rests, the steering wheel rim as well as the beltline. Further yellow accents adorn the instrument cluster, the AMG-specific analogue in IWC design and the floor mats.
