The German car maker Mercedes-Benz has revealed the Cigarette AMG Electric Drive Concept at the 2013 Miami International Boat Show. The concept was developed along with the guys from Cigarette Racing, and it use a lot of design lines and interior accessories inspired by the SLS AMG Electric drive.

The power is provided by two drive units which have six electric motors. Each unit can deliver 188 hp (138 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) peek of torque. The combined output of the prototype is 2251 hp (1656 kW) and 3000 Nm (2212 lb-ft) of torque. Thanks to this figures the Cigarette AMG Electric Drive can hit 160 km/h (99 mph) and becomes the "world’s fastest electrically driven powerboat"
The engines power is provided by four high tech batteries which can release 240 kWH of energy. They can be fully charged through the boat’s on-board chargers in seven hours or the boat can be outfitted with four on-board chargers which reduce the time to less than three hours.
