Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the 2015 G-Class facelift model. On the outside, the most iconic off-roader comes with a slightly revised front fascia, with different spoilers, new wheels and more color option.
Inside the cabin, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class facelift will feature a revised instrument cluster and a new infotainment system.
And now let’s talk about the real modifications that have happened under the bonnet. Here the 2015 G350d will feature the V6 3.0 liter diesel engine that can now deliver 245 horsepower and 600 Nm peak of torque.
The second version is the G500 and will feature the new 4.0 liter V8 unit that can deliver 422 horsepower and 610 Nm peak of torque. As a result, the German off-roader can run from stand still to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5.9 seconds.
The range-topping versions of the G-Class will be the G63 and G65. The first one uses a V8 with 571 horsepower and 760 Nm while the second one has a V10 6.0 liter engine with 612 horsepower and 1.000 Nm peak of torque.
More than that, the German car manufacturer will also offer a special edition. Named AMG Edition 463 it can be ordered only on the AMG G63 and AMG G65 and features a few exterior and interior tweaks.
The revised G-Class models, except for the diesel version, will be available at US dealerships in November.
