McLaren continues to tease its first supercar in new Sport Series range with another teaser published under the #blackswanmoments hashtag.

This time, the teaser image is a profile sketch of the car, showing the mirrors, the sculpted lines and the lateral air intake with black cover, helping the cooling of the future V8 engine.

The British manufacturer already announced the car will feature a downplayed version of its current 3.8 liter V8 engine, delivering over 500 hp. The supercar will be a sporty coupe, with the mission of targeting the Audi R8 entry level version. This means it will accelerate to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds and will have a top speed of about 300 km/h.

The car will be built around a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and will make use of a dual clutch seven speed gearbox, delivering faster gear changes. In terms of price, the first McLaren Sports Series will cost as much as a Porsche 911 Turbo S, another rival its targeting.
