The Japanese automaker released two teaser like photos with the Mazda MX-5 Superlight, a new version that will be showcased at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The Mazda MX-5 Superlight version was designed at the company’s design studio in Frankfurt, Germany and besides the weight loss the car will offer improved performance and handling as well as better fuel consumption figures and less CO2 emissions.
An interesting feature that seems inspired from the Mercedes SLR Stirling-Mozz is the fact that the Mazda MX-5 Superlight has no windshield. We should have more details on the official debut day which is September 15 ar 12:45 local time.
