Lexus has presented its brand-new LS lineup at the "Lexus Laws of Attraction" exhibit in San Francisco last night.
The new LS range includes the LS 460, LS 460L, LS 600hL hybrid and also for the first time ever, the LS 460 F SPORT, with the LS 460 and LS 460L available in RWD and AWD configurations and also with the LS Hybrid available with a full-time AWD system.
All these versions mentioned above are mainly characterized by the new Lexus face which gives character due to the aggressive looking spindle grille, and in addition to the new design, the company says the list of improvements for these new models also includes increased body rigidity, enhanced stability, better pitch and bounce control due to the new frequency dependent shock absorbers, better steering and a revised braking system adjusted for immediate power and greater pedal feel.
In the safety department the new LS range comes with the Pre-Collision Safety (A-PCS) system with Collision Avoidance Assist which assists the driver in avoiding or mitigating collisions with vehicles and pedestrians under a wide range of city and highway speeds.
On the inside the 2013 Lexus LS models integrate an all-LED lighting system called the Advanced Illumination System (AIS), a 12.3-inch, split-screen, high-resolution multi-media display part of the standard navigation system, and the optional Lexus Climate Concierge which uses multiple sensors to
automatically regulate the temperature of the cabin, the climate control seats and the heated steering wheel.
Lexus has not offered details regarding the engines choices for the 2013 LS range, but according to previous reports, these will be carried over from the previous generation LS.
