Lexus has finally released official photos and details with the 2013 Lexus GS, as the new generation sedan premiered at the 2011 edition of Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this weekend.
Inspired by the LG-Gh concept showcased in Newy York earlier this year, the 2013 Lexus GS comes with a newly designed grille, headlights which incorporate LEDs, a dual exhaust system integrated in the diffuser and a luxurious interior highlighted by premium materials such as leather, wood and aluminium.
Inside the cabin the 2013 Lexus GS also features a centrally positioned time piece, an 8-inch display part of the infotainment system, an energy-saving climate control system and an optional, 17-speaker, premium sound system from Mark Lenvinson.
Featuring wider front and rear axles, and a newly developed multi-link suspension, the 2013 Lexus GS will extract power from a 2.5-litre V6 or a 3.5-litre V6 for which the details remain unspecified at this point.
A hybrid version based on the 3.5-litre model is also expected to be offered, but we’ll be back with more info on this at a later time.
The 2013 Lexus GS will hit the marker in early 2012.
