Land Rover has officially announced three limited editions of the Defender as a tribute to this iconic model. As you may have read, the production of the British model may come to an end in December 2015.  
 
The three limited Defender editions: Heritage, Adventure, and Autobiography.

Land Rover Defender Heritage Edition
 
The first special edition named Defender Heritage Edition draws inspirations from the early Land Rover cars. This particular model heavily influenced by the Huey, the first pre-production Land Rover Defender. On the outside we see a Grasmere Green body with a white roof, HUE 116 graphics and a heritage grille. According to Land Rover, the Defender Heritage Edition will be built in 400 units, all of them available starting August.

Land Rover Defender Adventure Edition
 
The second special edition is the Defender Adventure Edition. This one addresses those of you who are always looking for adventure. It has extra underbody protection and special Goodyear MT/R tires. Production will be limited to 600 units and will also go on sale in August.
 
Land Rover Defender Autobiography Edition 

Last, but not the least is the Land Rover Defender Autobiography Edition. This one has a two-tone exterior with full Windsor leather upholstery. According to Land Rover, the car will be made in 80 units and will be available starting this April.
