Land Rover is celebrating 67 years since it first introduced the defender with a special edition. Called Land Rover Defender Africa, the special model features Santorini black paint on the outside and black alloy wheels.
 
Inside the Defender, Land Rover offers also black seat covers with red stitching. The equipment list includes a Bluetooth telephone connection.
 
On the options list, the clients can find a snorkel, a roof rack, a rear step, bumper caps and a front protection bar. The Land Rover Defender Africa will be available in both body versions, Defender 90 and Defender 110.
 
The Africa Edition is available with the 2.2 liter diesel engine, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Equipped with this engine, the Land Rover Defender Africa can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 15.8 seconds up to a top speed of 145 kph.
 
Land Rover Defender Africa production will be limited to only 50 units with prices to be announced in the near future.
