Lamborghini has officially unveiled a special edition of the Huracan named Avio. The car will be a limited-run model and 250 units will be made. The main idea behind the Huracan Avio is to pay tribute to the world of aviation and aeronautics.

On the exterior we see a body painted in Grigio Falco with a pearlescent finish. If you don’t like this color, Lamborghini will also offer the special matte colors: Verde Turbine, Grigio Vulcano, Grigio Nibbio, and Blu Grifo. As you can imagine, the colors were not selected randomly as all of them have a direct correspondent in the coats-of-arms representing courses at the Italian Air Force Academy.

Also on the exterior we see double stripes painted in white or gray and a L63 logo which refers to Lamborghini and the year 1963 when the company was established.

Inside the cabin of the new Lamborghini Huracan Avio is a black leather and Alcantara with white stitching and L63 logos. As a final touch, the car gets a hand-enameled plate located on the driver’s side window.

According to Lamborghini, the new Huracan Avio will use the same 610 horsepower engine and will hit the showrooms this summer.
