Novitec has just finished tuning its first Lamborghini Project. The German tuning firm has chosen the most unlikely candidate for a power increase, the Lamborghini Aventador supercar.

So what new? First of all, there are some aerodynamic refinements. On the exterior, the main features are a carbon fiber body kit with a front lip spoiler, a ventilated hood, rear air scoops, revised side skirts, and an aggressive diffuser.

Second, we have the power upgrades. Novitec Torado offers now a variety of performance packages in order to increase the output of the 6.5-liter V12 engine.

– 722 HP (531 kW) and 704 Nm (519 lb-ft) of torque
– 728 HP (535 kW) and 709 Nm (523 lb-ft) of torque
– 743 HP (546 kW) and 716 Nm (528 lb-ft) of torque
– 748 HP (550 kW) and 722 Nm (532 lb-ft) of torque

Last but not the least is a special performance package. It features two new superchargers, new injectors, high-performance fuel pumps and an optimized ECU. Thanks to these modifications the engine is now developing 969 horsepower and 912 Nm peek of torque. In this case, the Aventador can sprint from stand still to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds while the acceleration from 0 to 200 km/h is done in just 7.4 seconds.
