The bestselling vehicle in Kia`s range, the current Rio is ready for a facelift. The small car was redesigned under Peter Schreyer`s coordination, featuring all new elements of design.
It was obvious the 2015 Kia Rio will receive the "tiger-nose grille" and newly-designed front bumper with fog lights. The car is also available with two new body paints, Urban Blue and Digital Yellow, redesigned rear bumper and 15 to 17-inch alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin we have chrome accents around the four dashboard air-vents and a new centre-stack around the audio system.
The equipment is also enhanced, as on the new Venga, with the addition of Kia’s AVN (Audio-Video Navigation) system with a 7.0-inch display screen, improved processing speed and faster route calculation.
The engine range will consist in four units, with power ranging between 73 and 107 hp. The engines come mated to a six-speed manual or a four-speed auto.
The Kia Rio hatchback is manufactured at Kia’s Sohari plant in Korea and is expected to go on sale across Europe early in 2015.
