If you remember the production-intent Jeep Grand Cherokee Concept showcased at the Huston Auto Show in January, then the ‘special treatment’ featured by the new Altitude editions Grand Cherokee, Compass and Patriot will look familiar.
The "Altitude" name was chosen from more than 100,000 entries in the Jeep "Name My Ride" consumer contest on Facebook, with the Grand Cherokee version for example featuring various black exterior and interior elements such as a glossy black grille, extra dark window tint, black headlamp bezels, black painted 20-inch alloys and interior enhancements such as heated leather seats, a 9-speaker premium audio system and rear-view parking camera.
The Compass Altitude Edition comes with the same treatment, but with 18 inch wheels and roof rails and with buyers having the option of choosing between the Deep Cherry Red,
Black, Mineral Gray and Bright White exterior colours.
As for the Patriot Altitude, the car gets the same colour choices as the Compass version, comes with 17 inch black aluminium wheels wrapped in all-season tires, a chromed lower fascia and again roof rails.
Pricing starts at 35,595 USD for the Grand Cherokee, at 22,190 USD for the Compass and at 20,240 USD for the Patriot.
