Jaguar and Land Rover want to let us know that are following in the footsteps of their German rivals with a new model launched by their performance division. Called SVR (Special Vehicle Operations), the new division wants to rival Mercedes AMG and BMW M in terms of performance.

The newest addition to the SVR range will be the F-Type, one of the most beautiful coupe`s available on the market. The new F-Type SVR will make its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show and will go on sale in summer 2016.

Capable of 200mph, the new F-Type SVR is the first Jaguar SVR and is developed to exploit the two-seat aluminium sports car’s potential keeping its day-to-day usability.

Lighter, faster and more powerful, the new F-Type SVR takes performance to a new level. The treatment will be applied to both body versions, the coupe and the convertible. Except some new design details like the new hood and wheels, the most important surprise will be hidden under the hood. Many voices say that the new F-Type SVR will have the classic V8 5.0 lire engine, capable of delivering almost 575 hp.
