Until its official debut, scheduled for this year Paris Motor Show, Jaguar is offering us a new teaser video of the new XE sedan.

The model, scheduled to compete against BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class, will feature a front suspension borrowed from the F-Type and a rear multilink suspension.

The body structure will include 75% aluminum, which will make the new XE a very light car. Under the bonnet we will find lots of petrol and diesel Ingenium engines. The most efficient version will guarantee an average consumption of just 4 liter/100 km and 100 g/km CO2 emissions. The fastest engine, a petrol V8 with 500 hp, expected in 2016, will ofer the future XE a top speed of 300 km/h.

Inside the cabin Jaguar will feature the InControl infotainment system, designed around a 8 inch screen, offering touch control and voice control. Jaguar InControl Remote will allow users of iOS and Android smartphones to connect to the car and to pre-set the XE’s climate control system, locking or unlocking the doors, or starting the engine.
