Jaguar announced that it will introduce a new version of the current F-Type Coupe during this year Los Angeles Motor Show. The British manufacturer will introduce an all-wheel drive version for the current F-Type Coupe.

The addition of all-wheel-drive is one of a number of performance enhancements to the Jaguar F-Type range which will grow from six to 14 derivatives in 2015. The complete full range will debut at the LA Auto Show on 19 November.

All-Wheel Drive

To tease the public, Jaguar says that the all-wheel drive system will also be available on top of the range F-Type R Coupe. The car is Jaguar’s most powerful production model to date.

Drivetrain

Its 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 produces 550 hp and 502 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to the AWD system, the car can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds which makes it 0.1s quicker than its rear-wheel drive sibling while the top speed has remained the same at an electronically-capped 186 mph (300 km/h).
