Infiniti announced today that it will unveil a completely new concept during this year Paris Motor Show. The Japanese premium brand intends to show other premium rivals that it can activate in the top end class with a limousine that will target BMW 7 Series, Audi A8 and Mercedes S Class.

The concept car was called Q80 Inspiration and, as its manufacturer suggests, it is an "aggressive four-passenger fastback able to demonstrate to the premium world just how Infiniti aims to play its part.”

The concept car will anticipate a top end limousine from Infiniti, with a coupe profile, based on a Mercedes platform. The car will use also petrol and diesel engines that we currently find in Mercedes range.

Infiniti calls its model a fastback, which might lead to a four-door coupe like the BMW 6 series Gran Coupe or Mercedes CLS, making the idea of an 7 Series rival unreliable.

Infiniti will make some light on October 2nd, during the first press day of Paris Motor Show.
